“I really wish I had found this sooner-- would have made some of my tattoos easier, for myself and my artist. This last time, I was going to get a half sleeve, but expressed some hesitation in terms of how long I thought I could sit... (yes, I openly admit I'm a wuss, but I love tattoos). My artist recommended I apply Hush gel a couple hours before my appointment and wrap it in cling wrap. (I applied liberally to my entire upper arm and shoulder, and I have about half a bottle left). I can't believe how much of a difference it made-- it really took the edge off! I made it through an hour of line work without feeling a thing, and about another hour of shading before I requested the topical lidocaine spray; by that time, the gel had begun to wear off, but I wasn't in total pain yet. Honestly, there's no way I would have been so comfortable with the extensive line work in my inner arm had I not applied this gel! You can bet I'll be keeping a bottle on hand for all future tattoos, and I've already recommended it to my husband and brother for their next pieces.”
“I got my freaking KNEE CAP tattooed y’all. This stuff was a saving grace! I have sleeves and still. So the bottle says to use a 1/4 thick layer, that’s way to thick you’ll waste half that. Yes put it on thick, don’t try to be cheap, but a 1/4 inch is almost the whole small bottle lol. Anywho, I had a 4 hour session and this stuff lasted the first 2 hours. It’s great! It numbs it perfectly, the needle felt like a ice pink drawing in me. I kept it on 90 minutes before the tattoo.”
