“To be honest, I have had a bad experience with Hydrojug as a first time buyer. From receiving two different water bottles with lids screwed on so tight that my husband was not able to get it unscrewed, even in the slightest (would not budge), to the customer service experience where they have not resolved the issue. My husband tried so hard to unscrew the first bottle after many attempts that he accidentally broke the handle off and scratched his wrist (to be dramatic). They did send me another bottle (after having us send them a video of us carving an X into the enamel, I guess to prevent someone from reselling it). The second one they sent the lid was on just as tight and we are unable to use it again. They said they cannot refund me because I originally ordered the first hydrojug through Amazon, then had to reach out to hydrojug directly once the lid wouldn’t unscrew. They are now offering me the same procedure of me carving an X into the second one and a video proving that we cannot get it unscrewed before sending me a third one. I understand there are probably people out there that would go the extent of trying to get free water bottles, but for people that are not lying it feels very unfair. They don’t seem to be extending any empathy towards two water bottles from their warehouse being unusable, and they have yet to express action to resolve the recurring issue. If this is happening to me, it’s likely happening to multiple customers. For the second bottle, I asked if they could please send a bottle with the lid off to which they replied with they can make a note to the warehouse to do that but it’s not guaranteed. They have not expressed concern over the possibility of there being an issue in manufacturing- maybe the equipment that screws on the lid is making them too tight… there seems to be no empathy expressed or prompt action taken towards me receiving two bottles in a row that are unable to be used. They seem to be more concerned with the possibility of a customer maybe lying about an issue such as this and reselling their product…. I just want to fill it up and drink from it throughout the day knowing I am getting 80oz per day as a pregnant women. This has been going on for a month now, and I hope it gets resolved because it feels so silly that we can’t get a bottle unscrewed or a replacement with the lid off.”
“After having my last HydroJug stolen in November, I was so hurt it took me some time to order another. When I saw the Belle, I knew it was the one I wanted to get! I am so happy I did! It’s still the same great quality HydroJug puts out, but I just absolute love the color combination. I miss my Harvest Berry one, but the Belle is awesome!”
