“This is the review I wish I would've read before I purchased. I love my mint colored Hydrojug and I'm very happy with my purchase, but I wish I knew a few things before I bought it. The jug sweats A LOT. I like my water ice cold and I fill it to the top with ice and it sweats so bad!! I did purchase the slate grey sleeve which definitely helps with the sweat and saves all my tables and counters from a water ring! The sleeve helps keep the water cold too, usually a couple hours (3-4) for me. If I could change anything it would be the color of the sleeve I chose. It gets so dirty so fast. I do CrossFit and my hands get filthy during a workout and when I grab the jug to get a drink it shows allll the dirt. Also, the bottom of the sleeve has a dark, stained ring around it. I'm sure it's from the the sweat of the bottle pooling up inside. I am able to hand wash the finger stains and dirt smudges off, however, I can't get the bottom cleaned so I'm contemplating throwing it in the washing machine. I also got the straw which definitely helps with my water intake. I'm drinking an average of a gallon and a half a day now. Overall I'm happy with my purchase but maybe will get a darker sleeve in the future!
- In the picture of the jug with the sweat on it, I had just removed the sleeve to take pictures. The sweat does build up on the bottle, it's not all absorbed into the sleeve.”
“The lid is an absolute joke.The seal is impossible to put in and get it to stay in place so it doesn't leak. I've considered returning it simply because the seal is pointless.”

“I'm not sure if it's just a defect with the bottle I received but the seal to prevent it from leaking, falls out every time I open it to refill it. It's incredibly frustrating and the only complaint I have. If it is a defect I'm hoping hydro jug will send me a replacement.”
