Our lids were designed to ensure a tight seal however, they can be difficult to shut when new. If you press in the center of the flip cap firmly it should shut all the way. “I wanted to like this jug so bad because I waited to order until I finally made the leap! The strap always flips the bottle upside down and the lid on the bottle is junk anytime it tips over it pops open and spills everywhere, in my car, next to my bed on the couch, it's just garbage!!! I messaged them shortly after dealing with this and they said the lid needs time to break in!!!! I've had this forever now and it's just junk”
