“The original lid that came with the mug was not designed to be disassembled -- but they sold them anyway. The original lid grew mold because it's impossible to clean thoroughly -- becasue again, it was never meant to be disassembled. So I had to PAY EXTRA for the redesigned lid. Is the new lid good? Sure, but I'm not happy that the first lid was never designed to be disassembled for cleaning. We washed it in the top rack of the dishwasher and mold still grew. I wonder how long my wife was drinking traces of mold from that crappy lid!”
