“The design of the lamp stand is very stylish and exactly what I wanted but the design of the shade is appalling. It arrives flat packed and you have to make it up yourself attaching the metal frame to the shade with Velcro(already on both surfaces). Unfortunately, because the shade comes flat, it retains the fold lines which look like dirty marks when the light is on. I phoned to tell the company this and a very helpful polite man apologised and sent me another by express delivery. This shade too is marked, though nowhere near as badly but it is also grubby around the edge of the join.
How on earth someone thought this design would be acceptable, I have no idea! In order to use this lamp stand which I like, I will have to buy a suitable shade for at extra expense.”
