“Good quality, clear and bright light - similar to daylight bulbs. Whilst expensive to buy, uses a fraction of the electricity of standard bulbs and less than low energy bulbs. Another plus with LED lights, no waiting for full brightness which is why I don't buy low energy bulbs. There's another plus too, LED lights don't get hot so no burnt fingers catching the light on a desk light of trying to find a switch on a side light. Gradually changing all our lights to LEDs.”
