Hi, Thanks for reaching out with your positive review! Our French linen is stone washed to speed up the softening process, however linen as a fabric is know to soften with use and washing. Double weaved patterns like gingham can also feel a little more textured in the beginning however this can come with the added benefit of being slightly more durable. Have a great day!
