I’m very pleased with my Indow window insert. It’s lowered the noise from the street dramatically. It fits well and looks good.

These are providing a very effective noise solution, and are basically invisible. Putting them in place was utterly straightforward. They we’re manufactured and delivered when expected, and I appreciate receiving the detailed clear info about how to unpack the boxes and insert the Indows.

I'm very impressed with my Indow window inserts! I installed them in my bedroom and they have cut the outside noise to near ZERO. I'm sleeping better than ever, no longer being awakened by traffic, street cleaners, construction in the area and more. Even more impressive is how effective they are with windows that are more than 20 years old. I should also mention that I have built soundproof rooms in various settings, including homes, and I would consider these to compare very favorably with the more expensive methods of stopping sound transmission in rooms with windows. I have already recommended these to friends in the recording industry.

The window inset was rated to cancel above 75% of outside noise. My estimate is at best it is about 50%. They do fit well, and are well made however.

Very good experience overall. The two window inserts arrived well-packed and eah fit perfectly in the designated window. These were acoustic model inserts for our bedroom overlooking a busy street with noisy traffic. They worked as advertised resultig in a dramatic reduction in street noise. I wish the ordering and measurement process was less time consuming, but it yielded an excellent product so we're very happy

Wasn't sure what to expect regarding road noise reduction, so I ordered 2 acoustic grade inserts for the master bedroom windows. My expectations were exceeded- easily a 50% noise reduction (inserts went over double hung, double pane windows). For the most part road noise is barely more than a whisper. 4 more inserts are currently on order, and probably 6 more after that. Customer service was very good--- there was an issue in the begining that was quickly resolved. Very easy to install--- the only "hassle" was the inset window blinds; they had to be removed and re-mounted to accomodate the insert. Overall very good company with a very good product.

So my experience with Indow is a bit drawn out and involved. I've worked with several people at the company, all of whom have been extremely professional and helpful in their responses. We initially wanted to go with the acoustic panels to help reduce the noise coming from a train station directly across from our house, and decided to do a test run of the first floor. Unfortunately, the panels did not seem to make a difference in our specific instance. Either noise was coming through the walls as much as they had been through our existing windows, or the sound was coming from another location. I HIGHLY recommend that you perform acoustic testing within your household to determine if the windows are ultimately the biggest transmission region of noise from the outside, because they've done enough testing to prove that they will work if the windows are where the noise is coming through. Our home is new construction (2017), so we operated under the assumption that it was sealed up fairly tight and that the windows were the "weak link". Performing some acoustic testing ahead of time would have saved us from purchasing panels that weren't necessary. That being said, Indow worked with us to ensure that we were happy, and we went on to buy additional (standard) panels for the rest of our house. The panels (regardless of grade) do an amazing job at reducing the thermal intrusion from outside, which is very evident in the colder months. I can walk right up to any window and basically put my face up against the insert before feeling any coldness from the outdoors, on single digit degree days. This has also helped with sealing off the windows and preventing humidity from either entering or leaving the house (depending on the time of year). You should end up seeing a return on your investment fairly soon, depending on the age of your house and your current energy bills, and you'll be a lot more comfortable all year round. I highly recommend both the company and their product, and would definitely purchase from them again should we ever move.
