The Best of Peru, Argentina and Brazil tour by Indus Travels was the epic 15-day South American odyssey I've always fantasized about—covering ancient Incan mysteries, thundering waterfalls, and vibrant city energy across three countries in one seamless, hassle-free package that felt tailor-made for a history buff and nature lover like me! Starting in Lima with its coastal charm, we dove into Peru's heart: exploring the Sacred Valley's Incan terraces and markets, the unforgettable train ride to Machu Picchu (that Expedition service ascent was pure magic as the Lost City emerged from the clouds), Cusco's colonial streets and Sacsayhuaman Fortress, and a serene boat trip on Lake Titicaca to the floating Uros Islands that left me in awe of Andean ingenuity. Flying to Buenos Aires brought the tango-filled passion of Plaza de Mayo, colorful La Boca, and lively neighborhoods, then the jaw-dropping Iguazu Falls—hiking to the Devil's Throat viewpoint on the Argentine side and crossing for panoramic Brazilian vistas made it feel like two wonders in one. Wrapping up in iconic Rio de Janeiro with Sugar Loaf Mountain cable car rides, stunning beach views, and that electric urban vibe was the perfect finale. Indus Travels orchestrated it brilliantly: superior hotels throughout, daily buffet breakfasts plus special lunches, all domestic/regional flights (Lima-Cusco-Puno-Lima, Lima-Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires-Iguazu-Rio), deluxe AC transport, entrance fees including national parks, English-speaking local guides in each destination who shared insider stories and tips, and smooth logistics with an average group of 22 that kept things personal yet lively. For anyone dreaming of ticking off Machu Picchu, Iguazu, and Rio without the stress of piecing it together solo, this tour delivered breathtaking variety, cultural depth, and pure adventure—truly one of the best multi-country experiences I've had.

Our trip was the Best of Peru, Argentina, and Brazil for Nov 7, 2022. After inquiries and no responses and excuses of change of staff. We booked and picked our flights in April 2022, (because our friends had all ready booked and paid). Indus gave us a booking confirmation invoice with those flights we picked. We paid our balance on time in Aug. Six weeks before our departure Indus tells us that the trip may not run because of not enough people, (There was 4 of us booked.) even though their website says small groups and guaranteed departures. Indus finally confirmed that it would be a go, after many emails. We received our flight itinerary and it wasn't the flights we picked. Indus didn't book the flights when we booked. So now they had us on flights that made us leave 6 hrs earlier from home and arriving back home 12 hrs later. 18 extra hours! But we had no choice, but to accept the flights or lose all of our money. After this rocky start, I will admit that our trip went very well in the way of transfers, hotels, tour guides, and itinerary. but this is from hired companies. The only thing that I am disappointed the most about, is the description of "ENJOY LUNCH AT THE BELMOND SANCTUARY LODGE" for a cost of $72 CDN. What we received was a buffet lunch at a restaurant by the Lodge, which maybe owned by the lodge, but was not worth half the price. We didn't even step foot in the lodge! When I asked our Indus agent about compensation or partial compensation for this misleading excursion, Her answer was "You had lunch at the Tinkuy Restaurant that is located at the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge." So no compensation! So my advice is to be aware of the wording of their excursions! Or save yourself the headaches! Thank you

Just finished my tour to South America through Indus Travels. I had never traveled with Indus before so I didn't know what to expect. I have to say that they exceeded my expectations on everything. When I was doing my research for this trip, I didn't see much on Trip Advisor on others that traveled with Indus. So if anyone has questions about my trip, I'd be happy to respond. Indus Travels covered all cost of park/museum/airport porter fees.
