“initially customer service with Indus was great… but after i booked trip REALLY hard to get info from INDUS… many times over a week to receive a response… unacceptable and not a way to treat a consumer”

“I looked at tours from at least thirty companies, and had even started a trip to Peru with another company three months earlier that ended enroute due to an unforeseen event. When I booked again, I found Indus travels had the best tour available at a reasonable cost. Their tour seemed to be custom built around the places I was most interested in seeing. It also included enough free days and time to allow me to see everything else on my list, like all the Incan sites in the Sacred Valley and north of Cusco, also time to explore old Cusco and more time in Lima after the tour.”

“My husband and I have taken three Indus trips and found each to be great! All transportation, hotels, city tours are arranged well. All we had to do was show up. Hotels have been delightful with clean rooms, are centrally located and with amazing breakfasts, which are included. The tour guides have been knowledgeable and the tours are entertaining and informative. On each trip, we have also had plenty of free time to explore on our own before meeting up with our car/driver or van to take us back to the hotel. We highly recommend Indus!”

“Very nice trip -well organized with great hotels -close to train stations- did not receive the hop on hop off passes promised until my return however. Possibly a mix up by staff -staff did not apologize they simply accused me of being wrong -even if I was wrong-their response did not portray great customer service. To my awareness I was not wrong -”

“I will not use Indus again. They advertise cheaper prices for tours, but all the non- included items make it more expensive than other companies. Like no transfers from airport to hotel and back to airport. Booking on low cost airlines, but having to pay $130 per checked bags. No luggage service, etc.”

“Very flexible and helpful. Thanks to Indus Travels we could cross the Bolivian border from Puno and visit the fascinating site of Tiahuanaco and Puma Punku. I wish the tour guide had recommended us to climb up in Ollantaytambo to see the 6 giant monoliths (Sun Temple). Unfortunately, we didn't have time to see the Nazca Lines, but they helped us a lot with everything else. I cross my fingers so that next time we go to Peru, there will be a direct flight from Chicago to a Lima at a reasonable price. Indus Travels is far above the average travel agency.”

“Greece 🇬🇷 is an excellent destination if you are interested in beautiful scenery and warm and friendly people. Santorini is absolutely beautiful. Milos and Mykonos and enjoyable as well. Beautiful stores and small shops.”

“Did not appreciate traveling to Perus for 2 days without sleep, arriving at 9 a.m. and being told that hotel rooms would not be ready until 2-3 p.m. Also did not appreciate the extra day in Lima on the return trip and then spending the whole afternoon in a freezing lobby without any TV.”
