We were disappointed in the hotel choices and would have appreciated a bit more time to explore on our own.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Ireland trip. What a lovely country! We did find dealing with Indus after purchasing our trip, somewhat challenging - lack of timely responses when we reached out for answers to our questions, lack of upfront information regarding add-on day (no airport transfer, expensive accommodation, distance from city centre/airport), and no info until later that our English speaking tour changed to English and Spanish speaking tour. For these reasons, I definitely would think twice before booking another Indus tour. In fact, I would try another tour company and would have this experience in my back pocket. As for the itinerary, we were pleased with all, except for one day which included a stop at a castle/hotel. Very disappointing and not worth the stop as we only saw it from a great distance!! Time could have been much better spent!! The bus was comfortable, the hotels and their breakfasts very good.

I truly enjoyed the trip. It was a please having Big Ben as the tour guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable and eager to assist. A negative was driving back to Johannesburg from Kruger Park instead of flying to Capetown from there. It was a wasted day that could have been spent seeing trying to see the other Big 5 animals or getting to Capetown earlier. We loved the Gold Restaurant and being immersed in the drumming and performance. The food was also delicious. Having them paint faces and wrapping our heads made us feel more included in the evening. I loved going thru the Desert in Dubai, but it was extremely HOT. The camel ride was short but the live performances were wonderful. I lost my book on the airplane traveling from Capetown to Dubai. Hope i can get it back as i borrowed it from the library. Also the hotel was not ready when we arrived in Dubai at 9am. Check in was 3pm. Knowing this we should have just gone sightseeing instead of trying to store bags. This added to the frustration at the end of the trip after loosing one of our persons. I appreciated the trip as a whole. I hope to go to Nigeria and Ghana someday.

1)Should have had guides on each bus. 2) should have had whispers for the whole tour (not just the last couple of days after numerous requests) 4) should have included dinners in the package ( even if it cost extra) 5) A meet and greet and get to know you dinner should be mandatory. 6) itinerary should be followed and not changed on the whim of the guide. 7) Local guides should not provide abbreviated version of tour history. At this level the local tour guides should provide more history and context than just a cursory explanation.

Indus should have advised us of the itinerary change much sooner. Others on the tour knew of it awhile ago. Failure ti act resulted in poor flights which included 2 different flights.

For the most part the trip was okay, however, it was very discouraging to be paired up with another Indus tour making our maximum tour size in the 50's. We paid for a small tour!! The other tour was so rude and really made our time not enjoyable. There was also two instances that our tour guide had the wrong hotel information given to her by mistake. We also had to switch busses unannounced mid trip for who knows what reason. For the most part the people in Spain and Portugal were very inviting. In Salamanca we were treated very badly at numerous restaurants. Maybe forego that city for future visits. Also would have liked to visit smaller villages. The amount of people in the big cities was too much. Our tour guide Blanca was awesome! The local tour guides were all great except a few who really didn't enjoy what they were doing.

Very nice trip -well organized with great hotels -close to train stations- did not receive the hop on hop off passes promised until my return however. Possibly a mix up by staff -staff did not apologize they simply accused me of being wrong -even if I was wrong-their response did not portray great customer service. To my awareness I was not wrong -

Did not appreciate traveling to Perus for 2 days without sleep, arriving at 9 a.m. and being told that hotel rooms would not be ready until 2-3 p.m. Also did not appreciate the extra day in Lima on the return trip and then spending the whole afternoon in a freezing lobby without any TV.

Rental car was inadequate. Had no trunk so 2 pieces of standard luggage would be exposed at all times. We upgraded and had to pay FULL PRICE for the rental even though there should have been some sort of credit should have been applied. Some of the hotels were not of great quality. Probably won’t be using Indus again.

There was no pick up, waiting for us at the airport in Tokyo. The rating on the tour was classified as easy. It was not easy! At least a level three. Customer service takes a while to get back to you on any questions When contacting you were Europamundo it was very difficult to let them know about any delays. They changed Guide’s four times. That was very unsettling. They split up our group toward the end which really angered a lot of people. The two first guys were great. The last two guards were not. The overall tour was thorough, but very intensive physically. The hotels were good. Overall, the meals they provided were good.

Indus does not stand by their advertised prices. When they advertise a single supplement, what they conveniently FORGET to tell you that the price is for a FEW single rooms. After the DISCOUNTED PRICE in their ad is full, they charge you a substantially higher price for a single supplement. Our first hotel was maybe a 3 star by Canadian standard, and the FREE breakfast was not worth free.

Egypt was amazing! The best things were 1) Adel Adbo tour guide - he was outstanding - knowledgeable, kind , honest , and hard working - he did everything possible to ensure an unforgettable experience! 2) Great variety of included tours/events ( Aswan High Dam, Unfinshed Obelisk, Galabeya Party, Pyramids, Aswan Botanical Gardens,, horse cart to Edfu as well as numerous temples) 3) Transportation provided was clean, air conditioned and safe 4 )Hilton Ramses Hotel was very nice- however the location poor- unsafe to walk outside the hotel The not so good ........ 1) Ramos ( Indus rep in Cairo) - seemed very determined to sell more tours !! He did not understand how exhausted we were ! He was disorganized, especially when we arrived back in Cairo at 1 AM - we waited more than 30 minutes to get room keys - another very long day and late night considering we had another very full day in early morning- He did a very poor job - I think he thought his big smile would make him popular! 2)) itinerary- was either crazy busy - or nothing! Unbelievable that on the morning of arrival in Cairo that we could not check in to our rooms - instead made us feel that our only option was to pay for another excursion however too exhausted to enjoy- same thing on last day - check out of hotel was noon but not departing to airport until 1130 PM RIDICULOUS , for this reason alone I would not book or recommend Indus 3) Shams River cruise - absolutely not the quality one would expect especially since we were told it was an upgrade - rooms very tired , shower head sprayed water all over the wall soaking toilet paper, shabby furniture, food quality subpar , no coffee station for those early risers, pool water greenish. However the staff on the River cruise were wonderful. 4)We were not properly informed about the amount of tipping and also that Egyptian currency was preferred- frustrating to be told to take many US one dollar bills but that's not what they wanted ! Thank you for allowing me to express my my thoughts thoughts and concerns Debra Traichevich

the trip would have been better if the hotels were closer to more restaurants. Lots of us had to go to grocery stores. The last hotel we stayed was a 1/2 star at best.

The trip itself was wonderful and Iceland exceeded my expectations. GJ Tours with our guide Thor was excellent. The lower rating is because of the runaround we were given by Indus obtaining our travel documents. They did not arrive until 5 days before our trip, leaving us to scramble with details and very stressed about whether the trip was even going to happen. Not acceptable customer service for us.

The tours are excellent but your headquarters staff performance is unacceptable. I did not like paying more for the airfare than I should have if it was better communicated.

While the trip was great and well managed on the ground, there were a few issues - 1) There is a disconnect between Indus and the local tour company. The local tour company told us that two of the day excursions were not included. This caused us anxiety and we spent time making alternate arrangement while on tour. However, Indus finally sorted this out. 2. Indus delayed booking or local flight until a few days of tour started even if they had asked for our flight information several months in advance. Then they booked a local flight at 7 AM while a 10AM or 9AM flight would be more reasonable. They will not change it even if we offered to pay the difference. At the end we did not use their provided flight but bought additional at our own. 3 Indus is not very good in responding to e-mail or callback when you send them a message or chat with them. 4. There is no info about the final trip on their website.

The trip was good; Indus was not. Among things we enjoyed: More free time at our various stops and getting to eat at a variety of restaurants of our own choosing. It was a great itinerary. Among things we didn't: Indus charged us a luggage handling fee, yet provided no luggage handling. That directly led to a fall on an escalator that caused cuts and bruises. Communications before the trip was poor.
