Venture into the wilds of Ngorongoro Crater, experience exhilarating game drives in the Serengeti and Tarangire, and uncover the stunning beauty of Zanzibar.
“I have always been a Nature Documentaries fan and going on safari in Tanzania was one of my biggest wishes for years. It is one thing reading about it but to experience any of that in person, just amazing! No nature documentary can convey the experience of elephants moving silently across the landscape at dawn or lions resting comfortably beneath the trees.
I find this trip was so well balanced, It was a rugged, uplifting safari portion and Zanzibar afterwards allowed us to slow down in the perfect way. Ending our last few days on white-sand beaches with warm ocean breezes was surreal after early morning game drives.
I also loved learning about much more than just the wildlife in Tanzania. The lodges were lovely and cozy, but not too stuffy, which helped to keep the experience in a more natural and inviting atmosphere.
But for us this was not only a holiday, it felt like another world for 14 days”
“I chose Indus Travels’ “Best of Tanzania” as a 55-year-old mom traveling with my husband and our two adult kids, and it turned out to be the family trip I didn’t know we’d been waiting for. The route—Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater—felt like a carefully designed reveal: first the elephants and baobabs, then endless Serengeti plains with big cats and wildebeest, and finally the “animal amphitheater” of the crater where it seemed like every few minutes someone in the jeep was pointing and saying, “Look at that!”
What impressed me most was how seamlessly Indus handled the logistics for all four of us so we could just be present together—comfortably located lodges and tented camps, a patient and knowledgeable guide who answered a million questions from our kids, well-timed game drives, and smooth transitions between parks. The days were full but not exhausting; we’d be up early for sunrise drives, back for hearty meals and a bit of downtime, then out again for golden-hour sightings before gathering around the fire in the evenings to compare photos and share favorite moments. As a parent, what moved me most was watching our kids put their phones down, get genuinely excited about wildlife, and sit quietly just taking it all in—this wasn’t just a vacation, it was shared wonder, and Indus Travels made it feel safe, well-organized, and special from start to finish.”
