Over the years, my wife and I have travelled quite a lot but this particular India journey was something of its own league. Just everywhere you looked, there was color, energy, history and culture everywhere you went. Delhi was interesting with beautiful historic buildings and modern busy streets, and one vision of the sun rising over the Taj Mahal is every bit as magic as you think it will be. Ranthambore National Park was definitely one the many highlights for me. As a wildlife fan, it was thrilling to be out on early morning safaris in search of tiger (we saw one asleep beneath the trees). Jaipur too was beautiful with all its intricate architectural work in and around Amer Fort area and Palace areas. The most I liked is that it was an immersive tour without being exhaustive. The guides, who picked us up every day and dropped us off at the end of each one, were knowledgeable; the hotels where we stayed were comfortable; everything just seemed to go through well and thus there was no stress associated with traveling deeper into India than I ever imagined.

The Northern Türkiye Discovery tour by Indus Travels was an incredible 10-day deep dive into Turkey's ancient heart and diverse landscapes, far beyond the usual tourist paths! Starting and ending in vibrant Istanbul with a full-day guided tour of its historic Old City—think Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and bustling bazaars—we then flew to surreal Cappadocia for a guided exploration of fairy chimneys, rock-cut churches, and underground cities that felt otherworldly. The real highlight was venturing into Southeastern Anatolia: witnessing the breathtaking sunset among the colossal ancient statues atop Mount Nemrut, marveling at the world's oldest temple complex at Göbekli Tepe (truly mind-blowing for history lovers), and soaking in the cultural richness of Sanliurfa, Harran’s beehive houses, Halfeti’s sunken village, and Gaziantep’s incredible food scene. With small groups averaging just 6 people, seamless logistics including domestic flights, deluxe AC transport, superior hotels, daily breakfasts, several included dinners, all entrance fees, and knowledgeable English-speaking guides, everything ran smoothly and felt personalized. It delivered exceptional value for such a comprehensive blend of Byzantine/Ottoman heritage, prehistoric wonders, and stunning natural beauty—perfect for those wanting an off-the-beaten-path Türkiye experience packed with unforgettable moments. Highly recommended! 5/5 stars.
