The Wonders of New Zealand, Australia and Fiji tour by Indus Travels was the ultimate 19-day South Pacific adventure I've always pictured—combining jaw-dropping natural spectacles, vibrant cities, and laid-back island bliss across three incredible countries in one perfectly paced, small-group escorted journey that suited my love for scenic wonders and cultural depth without overwhelming logistics! Kicking off in Auckland with its harbors, volcanic vibes, and a half-day tour hitting The Domain and Harbour Bridge, the North Island magic unfolded with a full-day trip to Rotorua for geothermal geysers, Maori cultural performances at Te Puia, and the enchanting glowworm boat ride in Waitomo Caves that felt like floating through a starry night underground. Flying south to Christchurch brought serene botanical gardens, the Avon River punting, and Port Hills views, then the scenic drive via turquoise Lake Tekapo and majestic Aoraki/Mount Cook to adventure hub Queenstown, where I soaked up Lake Wakatipu leisure days (with tempting optionals like a Milford Sound cruise I'd highly recommend for those epic fjords!). A regional flight whisked us to cultural Melbourne for a city tour of Royal Botanic Gardens, Queen Victoria Market, and Federation Square, followed by the nostalgic economy train ride to Sydney—arriving to the iconic Opera House, Bondi Beach waves, The Rocks history, and panoramic views from Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair. The grand finale in Fiji's Coral Coast delivered pure relaxation on white-sand beaches and lagoons, with warm Bula hospitality and optional adventures like a river safari or zipline that added fun without pressure. Indus Travels handled it flawlessly: superior hotels (like Copthorne in Auckland, Batman's Hill in Melbourne, Mantra in Sydney, and DoubleTree in Fiji), daily breakfasts (buffet-style in NZ and Fiji), all included transfers, domestic/regional flights, AC transport, English-speaking guides who shared fascinating insights on Maori culture and local history, entrance fees, and seamless multi-country coordination for an average group of 22 that felt personal yet social. As someone who craves diverse experiences—from mountains and glowworms to urban icons and tropical shores—this tour delivered an unforgettable, bucket-list trifecta with zero stress.
