“I was disappointed the stool was made in China. The quality reflected Chinese made. Out of the box the seat was very difficult to rotate for raising and lowering. Upon close inspection I noticed the threads on the seat stem had cutting oil residue and metal chips from machining jamming the mechanism. I spent time cleaning the threads, removed all debris and carefully oiled the stem. I got it to work fairly well. The person who welded the stool frame is either a third rate welder or drinks on the job. If the stool was $150 or less I'd have had no complaint, but the original price is $260, I got the price to $210, thus I feel I overpaid.”
