“These brake line kits have been hit or miss for me. The kit I bought for my Roadmaster wagon fit great. This one for my '77 Trans Am is pretty close, but the axle tube lines are both way too long.
But my real gripe is that these beautiful stainless kits are assembled with regular steel flare nuts. They're NOT stainless flare nuts, and there's no option for stainless flare nuts. That means the flare nuts are going to rust horribly in this Vermont weather, all while the lines stay looking perfect for years. I don't get it... stainless flare nuts are commonly available, and I'd happily pay more for a completely stainless set of brake lines. In fact I ended up cutting off the regular steel flare nuts on my Roadmaster lines and installing stainless ones myself. But no, NOBODY offers stainless lines with stainless flare nuts. So I have to settle for this...”
