“These are wonderful socks. They are comfortable and flexible to easily pull over my pant legs. I wish I got them earlier instead of treating my hiking liners”
“Sadly, this product appears to be ineffective on ticks. We caught a dog tick crawling on the screen door and put in a bag with the sock. It was happy to crawl all over the sock and days later it appeared to be completely unaffected.
We put another tick put in a plastic bag with a sock that had been home-treated with permethrin spray the day before. That tick was dead in a couple hours - quickly enough that it could not have embedded itself in a person and done damage.
Fresh Permethrin works but this supposedly long-lasting Permethrin treatment does not appear to work as advertised. I cannot recommend it based on this testing.”
“These socks are very effective against ticks. But they only last me a short time because I always end up with a hole in the toe. I wish they were better quality amd had reinforced toes.”
