“My old favorite hat similar to this got stolen several years ago. I've looked for a replacement (the original was *years* old and no longer made) but this is the first hat that looks as good on as that one did. The pluses of the permethrin and sun protection make it my preferred hat now. (I have another, lighter hat from a different manufacturer that's okay, but it doesn't have the good looks of this one.)
The nice stiffener around the edge of the hat brim is what makes this one work.”
“I wanted to love this hat, but I can't. Pros; price, insect blocking ability. Cons; overall appearance, not machine washable, metal ventilation vents rusting. Who puts ferrous rivets in a hat? Everything is sturdily made, but other hats have better style and materials, albeit at a higher price point”
“This hat is very well made, sturdy, with a brim that stays in place rather than flopping down around your face. It repels insects, keeping the nasty mosquitoes, black flies and deer flies away from your head. We don't go out for summer walks without them.”

“I bought a hat socks shirts and pants! They are great! I have been limited on being able to be outside because of the mosquitoes! They love me!!! I don’t love them so much! I itch terribly from their bites! These clothes really work! I do wish you had woman’s sizes just a little bigger. I bought men’s shirts and they work but the biggest size in women’s pants and leggings are snug! Still so grateful for the technology!”
