“The hiking socks are smooth, and surprisingly comfortable. I am a female with wide feet, bunions and other foot issues, but the socks allow enough room in my shoes and don't rub sensitive areas. The tops are a little tight on my calves if extended all the way, so I fold the tops down to my ankle and tuck my pants into the folded socks. That works fine to keep ticks out.”
