“I wore these socks to my hunting area which consist of several high grass fields inside of my snake boots where earlier in the summer I had ventured and earlier without these treated socks I got eaten up by Chiggers and gotten several deer ticks off me that evening ! These socks will protect as indicated against chiggers and ticks ! I came home without any bites ! I highly approve without a doubt these socks will protect without any skin contact issues for me of being allergic to about everything is a great way to protect from Chiggers or ticks ! I forgot to mention that when I first went to these fields that I did use a insect repellent spray to my boots and pants but after a while of sweating the spray must have worn off because that’s probably when these chiggers and ticks got under my apparel and were attached to my body ! The next time later in the summer I did wear a pair of pants , shirt and these insect shield socks that were infused with insect repellent ! Sprays like OFF and many other brands just wear off after a period of time but clothing that are infused with repellent won’t wear off even after sweating doing long periods of works !”
“No bites when I otherwise would have some and I was out in the yard around bugs all day. They were a little warm for summer but not bulky, didn’t slip at all and will be great for cooler weather.”
