“I have some treated clothing from Insect Shield which works great against chiggers. I bought a can of permethrin to treat my shoes and gardening gloves to make protection complete while gardening. So far, I have not gotten any chigger bites.”

dried pretty quickly. I used it on a couple hats and it worked great. It did not permeate the fabrics with any bad odors.”
“I experienced Lyme's disease when I lived in Connecticut several years ago. I wasn't in the state 30 days when I had a tick burrowed into my armpit- of all places! (I guess there are worse?) Fortunately, I scheduled a doctor appointment soon after and he started me on a round of antibiotics and later, I tested negative post treatment. These products work great on mosquito attacks as well. Fished near the Appalachian trail a couple of weeks ago, with the mosquitos humming like a squadron of bombers without one landing on me. These insect shield products protect you like full body armour. Wouldn't go into the bush without it!”
