“I just received these blankets and am looking forward to using them. Insect Shield clothing is a game changer for us. I've been bitten by ticks and so has my husband. We live in an area where deer ticks are common now during late spring and early summer. Once we started wearing this treated clothing, when working outside in the yard and woods, and have had no tick bites. We have been using the clothing for several years now and no ticks! I find it helpful with mosquitos as well. I have full confidence that the blankets will be great. I look forward to be able to sit out on the yard again.”
“I used it to sit on at an outside concert. Although it did not keep away all bugs (I found a firefly actually crawling on it.) and my friend sitting next to me said her feet were getting bitten by mosquitoes, I did not get bitten -- and I normally would be feasted on by mosquitoes. So I do think it offered some significant protection. I don't think ticks were a particular danger here since they keep the grass cropped and hold outside concerts there regularly, but I do think it helped! Worth it to make the outside more comfortable.”
“We use these blankets for our dog to lie on. They're in the backseat of the car and on the couches.
Do they work? I don't know.
I will say that since we have had them, I haven't seen a tick on him, or us.
I do wish they were available in a larger size, it takes two of them to cover the couch.”
