“The fabric has some flex and the waistband also includes some elastic, so these are exceptionally comfortable for a poly/cotton blend. The surface has a soft feel which is much more appealing than many synthetic fabrics. They are light enough to be comfortable in warm weather, making them good for field work and hiking in summer. I would actually prefer a version of these pants without the zipper and velcro pocket closures.”
