“Pants are very lightweight, well-constructed and cool in hot weather. My one is issue the fit - they run on the small side and are not as comfortable as I hoped they would be.”
“Early days of wearing these pants afield are positive. If you are hiking, these are pants that you should consider. I wear insect shield pants daily on my Appalachian Trail constitutional hike with my dogs. They withstood light brush adequately, but if you're brush busting, or trail maintaining, seek a more robust garment. Time will tell how they hold up. I prefer non-convertable trousers, as I find the additional fabric and zipper on the convertible models not very useful, and irritating when I sit.”
“The right weight and size make these a reliable and comfortable choice for enjoying the backwoods and fields during tick season in New Hampshire. Tick bites are a worrisome element of outdoor life in our area and I haven't had a single issue since I discovered Insect Shield products.”
