“My home backs up to tens of thousands of acres of forest and savannah wildlife preserve, in a part of America that never freezes. Suffice it to say that the biting insects here are plentiful and voracious, and they REALLY LOVE MY BLOOD, for whatever reason. I'm pretty sure the only reason I get invited to picnics is so the bugs won't attack anyone else. I'm one of THOSE people. And I HATE putting chemical insect sprays on my skin - it doesn't like THOSE any more than it likes bug bites. This jacket is the PERFECT solution, and I can wear it with the hood up even in 90+ degree temperatures without any danger of overheating. My particular jacket has a sticky zipper, and I thought about returning it after struggling with the zipper the first few times, but honestly? It's so effective that I didn’t want to give it up and have to suffer the bugs again until it's replacement arrived. So I just unzip it partially and use it as a pullover.
