“I have been a volunteer with "Stamps for the Wounded" since 2014 and love serving our wounded heroes in the hospital. Our mission is to collect cancelled stamps which the vets use in both physical therapy programs and making art work. By selling both stamps off paper to dealers and collectors as well as the art work, our heroes raise money for future living expenses when they are discharged. Many people have never heard of us but we have existed since 1946 with our programs to keep the vets busy. The stickers are placed prominently on the envelopes we send as our letter introduces our service soliciting the stamps. Veteran's Day is soon and I am hoping they bring many new members as they become aware of how we are improving the lives of these heroes. I am so happy I found you as I always wanted to use these "Purple Hearts" along with the "Purple Heart" postage to gain momentum and awareness to our program. I have bought more recently as I know they will draw the attention of interested patriots who want to thank our heroes for their service.”
