“I was led to this fragrance through a circuitous route. I was listening to the Dan Le Batard podcast, which made mention of Creed Aventus. From there I went to a store and smelled Creed Aventus from a small decant, but decided it was just a little too indulgent for casual spending (especially since I don't wear cologne often). I settled on getting Al Haramain L'Aventure Eau de Parfum. While the 100ml was similar in cost to the "real" tiny decant, I just didn't like the value prospect of the authentic item.As others have mentioned, the Al Haramain packaging is pretty nice. I'm largely unmoved by that, though, so I just look at it as a cost component that doesn't really add any value (YMMV). As for the scent, I purchased it without smelling it. Upon the item arriving, I quickly tried it out. My first impression was that it was about a 6/10 match. Once it "settled" (about 15 minutes after applying), it was about a 7/10 match. It seems to last about 2-3 hours, at least at the relatively conservative amount I put on.This was my first experience with copycat/homage type scent. Honestly, I think I expected it to be a closer copy, but it's pretty nice in its own right. Would anyone confuse the two? It's hard to say, but I do think that the staying power of the cologne is a little disappointing. It's good for a dinner, but it's not going to last a long night. YMMV.”

“I clean a hospital, and work up a sweat, multiple times a day. This bottle has legs! I'm getting compliments on it 9 hours later, at the end if my work day. I never had so many women complimenting the scent. Black and African women really, really liked it, but it had similar effectiveness on Black/Dark haired women. (I'm Native American/ Mexican) I haven't been this busy, since... ever as an adult.”
