“I love Aventus. It's one of I have a 120ml batch from 2014 (don't recall the batch number), which I have used about half of already. Due to the price (and current value), I save this one for special occasions, but I still want to enjoy the Aventus on a more frequent basis in my rotation. I have tried a bunch of the clones, include CDNIM, PV Pineapple Intense and a couple of others not worth mentioning. The PV clones are all great, but at the prices they charge, you're better off getting a 30ML decant of real Aventus. The point of getting a clone is to enjoy the experience for a substantial discount. Al Haramain L'Aventure gives you just that. The pineapple isn't as strong in the opening as my batch of Aventus nor does it have the smokey burch in the mids and bass that my batch as. However, compared to batches of Aventus from 2017 and 2018, L'Aventure is pretty darn close. I would say 85-90% match to the original. On me, it doesn't perform as we as the orignal---but close enough. For me I get decent projections (sillage of around 2-3') for about 2 hours. After that it becomes more of skin scent for me, but it lasts for a good solid 8-10 hours. I paid less than $30 for my 3.4oz bottle, so I am more than satisfied with the performance of this parfum. IMHO, it's way better than the other clones I have tried--light years better than CDNIM. For this kind of money, it's worth a blind buy--I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's good enough that I am going to try some of Haramain's other offerings soon. To bad they don't have a clone of PDM's Layton. I might have to buy the real thing for that one.”
