I was only exposed to the house of Al-Rehab through a dear friend who gifted me this bottle of Nebras; this was one of my first introductions into oud…and now I am totally hooked! I learned immediately why this company has such a stellar reputation, their oils are incredibly potent…one application was enough to leave me a little dizzy. This thing will singe your nostrils!Upon first application, I am hit with a blast of citrus, followed by patchouli, orange blossom, rosewood, cedar chips and sandalwood. This is balsamic heaven with heavy incense notes and lots of oriental flowers; initial lemon notes were reminiscent of cleaning products but the floral follows up quite nicely. I don’t get “soapiness” that other reviewers have mentioned, this is pure resinous smoky rose/carnation, totally relaxing and meditative.Nebras reminds me of that “New Age” shop smell that tend to dominate various parts of San Francisco: warm, comforting, and very cozy. The sillage and longevity are enormous, in fact once in India I witnessed shop owners hanging their clothes on wooden door frames…while burning incense below so it would infuse into the fabric. This is what I feel like is happening when rubbing Nebras into my clothes; it saturates and stays there for weeks! This is my first experience with the Saudi Arabian fragrance line, and I love it. I can’t believe how potent their perfumes are for such a bargain price, really makes you wonder about all those watered down reformulations from big house names. Overall a real bargain!Vienna.Pink

A smoky, sweet scent. Starts off slightly sweet, drying down to a smoky finish. Hints of vanilla and cinnamon at the start. Then, the parfum becomes subtle. A nice afternoon or evening parfum for men. I have received nice compliments about its silliage. Use sparingly, one spray on each side of the neck will suffice. Enjoy!

Pleasant scent. No real staying power, but, a light fresh smell. It is easy to reach for it everyday.

I was wary of buying a perfume online without smelling a sample, first. But, I read such a glowing review of this perfume on another site that I felt I had to check it out. The fact that it was very inexpensive, even with expedited shipping, also helped make up my mind. I figured it wouldn't be too big of a loss if I ended up not liking it and I could just pawn it off on someone else at Christmas. "I got this just for you!"Thankfully, I really like it. My memory may be off, but, to me, it smells a lot like a perfume I used to wear in the fall and winter, many years ago, called Frapin 1270. Frapin 1270, today, is selling for an outrageous price (about $150) and I am glad I am able to get the same satisfaction from a less expensive scent.I'm not great at describing the notes in perfumes, but Dalal is a yummy, gourmand scent and you can detect vanilla and caramel and dried fruits in there. In any case, it's a quality perfume and it's certainly worth a try. Like I said, if you don't like it, the holidays are always coming up! One fewer present you have to buy for Aunt Carol, right?

JustOneOpinion' says it all. Layering the oils with their matching sprays is an incredible value! As for fragrances that this resembles, Balkis is a LITTLE like Jean Paul Gaultier Classique. Not a dupe. Just in the same family of spicy sweet floriental. There is something tangy too, which keeps the whole from becoming overly sweet. It would layer well with other oils too, such as more woody or oud based attars.TO sum up - you won't find many scents that smell so expensive at such a low price. Not all Al Rehabs are made alike, but Balkis is among the best. It's feminine and charming and Much More Expensive smelling than it is!

This a lovely perfume which smells much more expensive than it is. The combination of rose and citrus is great. This perfume smells very nice by itself but it is also really nice when layered with orange/citrus scents or other rose based scents. It has very good longevity and projects well. A little also goes a long way but it is not as potent as the oil version. It smells extremely similar to Boudoir by Vivienne Westwood but is easier to wear.
