“I do not run to the Gym everyday trying to convince people I'm a SEAL.I enjoy a smooth aroma. I don't like my aromatic signature to stab your Ofactor. It's ok for some, just not my roll”
“Pros:- arrived a day early- unique scentCons:- polarizing (although not inherently a con)- difficult to describeI got this randomly and I go to check EVERY website and most people are saying it smells like black orchid. I read reviews of black orchid and no help either. The notes online don't lend too much understanding either so there's been really little help in understanding what this is without prior knowledge. I also believe when giving reviews it's best to assume ignorance on the part of the reader; not everyone purchasing will know what something is a dupe of or comparison to and it's best to be as descriptive as possible, which I why I write reviews like this in the first place. Because of this, for me and everyone else who's never smelled black orchid, here is a solid and unbiased review of Oud 24 Hours:The very first spray straight off the truck smelled like an old lady imo lol. It was bright like citrus or floral (70) but not quite citrus with some spice? (20) and chocolate (10) just peeping in the background. Maybe I just don't like floral actually. Pure sweet with a weird spice type of note with none of the prominent chocolate or woodiness that some have described. I was so sad but whenever I'm sad about a fragrance I know it might get better when I let it sit so thats what I did lol. The next day I sprayed again and its FAR less sweet/floral and more of the chocolate notes are coming in (yay!), now its about 50 boozy chocolate, 15 floral, and the rest is possibly woody, although at that time I wasn't quite sure. After 1 week it is still the same opening but upon dry down is a very dark chocolate (70) with floral (20) and a bit of earthiness (10). A week and a half in and it developed into a WONDERFUL dark chocolate (85) earthy (7.5) SLIGHTLY floral scent (7.5) that I ADORE. It's been about 2 months and I like this but it's not a love for me. It's something that would suit my mother more although it is NOT a mature/old lady scent (her faves are mugler angel and Tom ford tobacco vanille). It's not bad but not quite for me, I'm more of a noir de noir girly lol. If you want a boozy, slightly sour, dark chocolate floral this is it!”
“This is a dupe of Tom Ford's Black Orchid Parfum. I would say it's 75% similar to the OG.The longevity is pretty as well. I get about 8 hours with this one. A great affordable alternative”
“This is an intriguing fragrance with a strong oriental and woody character. The prominent notes of agarwood create a rich and spicy aroma that is both exotic and long-lasting. While the vanilla is listed in the description, its presence is subtle and somewhat masked by the dominant spicy notes. If you're a fan of intense, spicy fragrances with a hint of sweetness, this perfume will be your best bet. However, those expecting a more pronounced vanilla … stay away. Overall, it's a unique and compelling scent that stands out for its longevity and complex aroma. But, the body spray is a nice added touch!”
