“I bought this as a blind buy but wasn't necessarily scared to try it because it was hyped by fragrance influencers on YouTube. Very strong dry woodsy fragrance, it smells like burning wood from a fireplace. Typically older guys will gravitate toward it. I'm 22 and I think the scent is very unique and pleasant. Unique to Gucci Pour Homme that is! Definitely not like your sauvage or bleu de Chanel.”
“Ok. So, my signature scent for years was Tommy Bahama original that was discontinued in around 2015. I was fortunate to buy a number of bottles as soon as I found out, they now go for $300+ a bottle. Currently it's my special occasion going out fragrance. I've been looking for a replacement ever since... Reading multiple fragrance reviews online I saw the comparison of TB to Gucci PH1, so naturally I was intrigued when I saw the same comparison made with Bentley Absolute. I blind bought a bottle and was super happy when I first got my nose on the opening. Definitely a very similar fragrance. Not as complex or alluring but a solid substitute non the less. If you like dry, woody, boozy, aromatic, sensual scents I don't think you'd be disappointed.”
