“After reading tons of reviews and watching every YouTuber describing this as a beast mode cologne not worthy of a blind buy because of its strong "old man" smell, I decided to give it a try at my local retailer before committing to the purchase.I'm 48 years old and the teenage store associate who sprayed my wrist looked up in absolute disgust as soon as the Bentley hit my skin. My wife is my age and seemed to like it, so I guess we're “old†in appreciating this scent.I actually liked it, but found it to be a little less spicy than I anticipated. I don't find it to be as strong as many have suggested. Beast mode, clubbing scent is quite an over statement. It's a very classy dressed up scent in which I picture matching up with a suit and tie. Very elegant!!I'm not a fragrance scholar by any means, but I do find Bentley Intense very similar, but smoother, sweeter & sexier than Paul Sabastian and like CK Shock, without the heavy spice.”
“Based on the reviews, I wasn't sure about this fragrance, but after one use I was sold! It is definitely a very masculine fragrance, but other reviews seem to imply that it smells like an auto mechanic's coveralls, which isn't even close to being true. It does have the leather and tobacco notes, and does smell "boozy," but I disagree with the comments about notes of petroleum. In my opinion, the overall fragrance notes are leather, imbued with a subtle notes of fine whiskey, completed by a strong spice finish. This is an EDP, so it is stronger than competing colognes and EDTs, and its longevity is therefore very good, easily a full afternoon or long evening. Overall, this is an extremely well priced elegant fragrance for men that should be used for any special event or night out. This will be one of my top choices for special events (i.e. weddings) and for general evening wear.”
