“I asked for this as a Christmas present based on reviews I've read and watched on YouTube. It lives up to the hype. Although the name is Velvet Oud, this is really a leather fragrance and the oud is more of a supporting player. As a result, this doesn't have the monster performance of some Arabic oud fragrances. It's not animalic. And it has a little sweetness to it.All of that makes it much safer in a wider range of weather and a wider range of situations. This is an oud for people who hate oud or people who are afraid to try oud. It's really a leather scent with amber, cinnamon, incense, and some subdued oud.The performance is good. It lasts 6-8 hours for me and projects an arm's length for the first 2 hours. Sillage is good for the first 2 hours. You'll leave a trail as you walk through a room. But you shouldn't choke anyone out.It smells of quality and it's really well blended and smooth. For the price, this is a great value. Not that I care all that much but the bottle and the packaging way above average. The bottle looks very expensive and the velvet container is worth keeping.This was a blind buy for me and I give it a strong thumbs up!”

“This is nice parfume. When first sprayed, it's a bit sour. You need to wait few minutes for the sweeter scent. When I smelled it later it slightly reminded me of the weekend by Burberry but not quite the real thing. It fades away after couple of hours which is a bit disappointing, so that's why 4 *Otherwise a good purchase, would make a lovely present. Thank you”

“Perfume lasts almost for the whole day. If I spray on my clothes it lasts for few weeks until I was it. It’s very strong Oud and took me a while to get used to but I like it now. For the price and the amount you get it’s so worth it”
