The one key issue with most colognes is that they are far too strong and end up assailing everybody in the room with an overpowering scent. No so with Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Pour Homme. The scent was much lighter than average, which made it easier to control throughout the application process. One could fine tune the exact amount being used and it was easy to prevent it from being too heavy. In lighter applications, I received several thoughtful compliments about how it invigorated the space and was appropriate for evening occasions. It projected a sense of confidence about being a well put-together man, someone who is able in all senses of life. I appreciated the opportunity to try this complimentary of D&G and recommend it to others w...

I tried on this cologne for a day, or I thought I did. This one disappeared almost as quickly as it went on. I replayed back through my day and had a hard time remembering that I had even put this on. Once I was sure I had, I told my girlfriend to tell me what she thought, and she didn't believe I had even put it on. Not a good sign... My wife has come to love my scent. My shampoo, deodorant, cologne and natural machismo all blend together to create "me". So trying new colognes is a very sensitive process. It is far too easy to destroy the symbiotic equilibrium of the various parts. I was pleased to find that Dolce & Gabanna's Light Blue Pour Homme was able to integrate itself into my collection. It's light and fresh scent doesn't overpower, there is nothing worse then walking into a perfume/cologne cloud and having it sock you in the face. I like the lighter, sportier scents. I do not like the strong, musky, leather and oak colognes. Nor do I like the baby powder scents. That's why I gravitated towards D&G Light Blue over The One and BOSS.
