“Got it for a gift, but had to smell it for myself. It's a typical manly cologne. Smelt good performance on it was relatively low I'd say about 3 hours and projection last about 15 minutes after a few sprays.”
“I was pleasantly surprised by this EDT, especially for the price. The scent is a nice light citrus, with wood and musk mixed in, which is the kind f scent that usually works best on me (bonus!). It has a fantastic balance and lasts for quite a while. It does have an immediate alcohol hint when first sprayed, but that gives way to the scent and is unnotiecable in just minutes. I can still smell it faintly on my shirt the next day, which is a lot for than I can say for some of the other EDTs in this price range I own.”
“Does it make good sense to award the full 5 stars to a product for being moderate? I hope it does, because that is what I'm doing here. If the aroma had been far more intense, for instance, would that have commandeered the 5-star slot and forced this milder Eau de Toilette down a notch? Well, to state the obvious, some like it hot and others less so. It seems to me that what I can do as a reviewer is tell how it comes across to me, and how well I like it that way. If that helps, then good.To me the perfume is lively and individual. It lasts for an hour or two as a perfume, but one little-mentioned virtue of body-sprays is that their 'neutral' effect as anti-perspirants lasts longer, and for most purposes that is really far more important. Why did I not require the scent to last longer so as to qualify for the top rating? The reason has to be that there is no agreed or consistent criterion for giving any 'objective' rating in the matter. One can tell absolute rubbish, and one can tell the kind of quality that most of us would need a mortgage to afford, but anything in between is either a matter of subjective like/dislike or a matter of entirely individual evaluation, which may in many cases amount to the same thing. Also, value for money presumably has to be taken into consideration.Looking through other reviews I find that opinions stretch between the extremes. And it's not entirely 'opinions' either: matters that might be thought 'factual' can be seen as black or white in that simple factual sense --'does the perfume last', for instance? Yes, says A, not on your nelly says B. If you think I can adjudicate, I'm flattered but not deceived. All I can do is tell you how the product seems to me. Even majority voting would prove nothing, so either take a punt or trust some reviewers that read the right way to you. One word of warning -- my sense of smell is dull. How's that for candour? At least this spray is moderately priced, attractively presented, and will not embarrass you when some friend notices it in your bathroom.”
“For it's price you can't go wrong. Mind you, I don't wear this in my night life like if I'm going out for dinner and drinks with a date. I save the sexier and bit heavier colognes like YSL or Versace for those nights. I do wear this cologne for things like work, grocery store runs, or errands. I like it for those settings because it's not very strong and has a neutral clean smell. Think of it as the Honda Accord of colognes. Sure it's not a BMW 5 series, but it's a reliable affordable option when you're just going to run to the grocery store to grab a gallon of milk!”
