“I bought this product based of the high praise reviews on this site. I got a bottle manufactured on "07/2018" from France. The sprayer is very crappy quality and leaks on the bottle after a couple of sprays. The bottle looks kinda cheap and the batch code is written on in black ink on a transparent plastic label affixed on a black bottle. Who did quality assurance on these products? The smell is pretty weak, synthetic and flat so this scent is not bright, natural or inviting like other colognes that I own. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be using this cologne as it really doesn't project well or last more than a couple of hours. A waste of $30! I will never buy any other products from Armaf ever again. Do yourself a favor and avoid this one at all costs!”
“Ordered some of this a little while back. When I received it, took it out of the box, which was very nice I must say, sprayed it on some cardboard. 30 minutes later, I took it to my wife and said "smell this." She immediately said, "oh, that's your Creed, right?" (NOTE: I only have a little 5ml decant of Aventus, as I can't justify spending $400 on a bottle of cologne given my current economic status). Admittedly, the opening is different, I can definitely smell the lemony scent that people talk about. But it is not off-putting to me. And after 30 minutes, it would be very hard to discern this from Creed Aventus. So to me, this is a total win! I'm so glad I bought all the hype and ordered a bottle, which is also very nice - atomizer works great. I sprayed some on before leaving work at 6am this morning. It's 3pm now, and I am still smelling it on me, so great longevity too. My take : if you are economically capable and don't want to wait 30 minutes for the drydown, then by all means, buy Creed Aventus. But if you are willing to wait 30 minutes for the smell to develop to something that is a 95% match to Creed and save $370, then definitely give this a try. I'm definitely glad I did!”
