“I bought this without even knowing how it smells because of all the positive reviews it received from the youtube fragrance community. I was not disappointed one bit, its my best smelling and most long lasting fragrance I have ever owned and I have owned alot.”
“Very good Aventus clone. Suggest you use it for colder periods of the year as scent itself is very strong and not everyone can tolerate it during hot day. Dont overspay it. If you feel the opening is harsh, just few sprays on the back and few sprays of anything “fruty†in front. 10 min and all top notes are gone anyway :)”
“I really adore this fragrance. I have never owned any sort of cologne so it was quite nerve-wracking blind buying a scent. This had unmistakably stellar reviews, so I figured I could not go wrong. I am very, very happy with my purchase.I've heard a lot of reviews mentioning the opening and how it is quite strong. Lemony, almost akin to Pledge cleaner or Pinesol. While I don't get those notes, I do empathize with the opening being quite harsh. But after five or ten minutes, it settles to a nice, smoky and wonderfully pleasant scent. I thought the constant boast of compliments on these reviews was somewhat fake. Perhaps it was people *wanting* compliments, and so saying they received them. Maybe it was just insecure people who bought this to be complimented. All of that aside, I am surprised to say that it is highly likely that all of these reviews accurate. You really do, almost immediately get compliments. I have gotten several compliments since I got this 3 days ago. My girl loves it and immediately asked me "Did you get a new soap or something? You smell so good."It's not overly powerful and the sillage and life is quite good. I read a great piece of advice that"Cologne should be discovered, not announced." Don't overdo it too much with this and you're in great shape.This smoky, light and slightly sweet aroma will be a perfect addition to your shelf. Whether you're experienced in colognes or new and blind buying, you can't go wrong with this one.”
“I don't like the smell of it...but I think it's more of a "my body chemistry" thing and not a product thing. It smells very similar to Bond No. 9 digital (http) cologne, which smells very similar to Creed Aventus. It's probably a good budget-saver for people who can't drop two and three hundred dollars on cologne, as an introduction to these combined notes.”
