“I purchased this based on very, very favorable reviews on the most popular fragrance information site. This smells wretched. I originally tried to convince myself that it smelled good after dry down but I was fooling myself, trying to convince myself I didn't make a bad purchase. This smells l like straight up lemon bathroom cleaner. Chemical mess with acidic lemon thrown in for good measure to make absolutely certain it's vomit inducing. Some have said earlier versions with a silver cap are good but I'm not going to search the web up and down trying to find a decent version of this. This is NOT CREED after all so I can't expect the same kind of quality or quality control. Save your money. This is the worst, hands down, no contest, fragrance I've EVER put on me. Major disappointment. And, no, I don't think its a fake. All over the web forums people are having problems with this product. It is entirely possible and completely believable that Armaf stumbled upon a winner in this and reformulated it with cheaper ingredients believing people would buy it anyways based on the hype and Armaf could laugh it's way to bigger profits. Well, they got me one time and one time only. Because of this experience and the way it made me absolutely stink and made my stomach churn, I lost a Philly steak and cheese. I felt so nauseous from this that I couldn't eat it and it went cold. Cold Philly's are no good.Armaf should be ashamed of allowing this product to hit the market. I will never buy another product from them...not just this vile, dry heave inducing scent. They owe me $30, a Philly cheese steak, and therapy for the trauma of having to smell my own very self at my worst. The whole experience has been jarring and has jolted my nose into Dante's deepest layer of inferno. I can't even put on other citrus fragrances without traumatic flashbacks to this putrid, vile, wretched "fluid.". I can't even call it fragrance. I honestly feel awful and pity both my nose and any other poor, unfortunate souls that had to experience my descent down into the darkest reaches of fragrance Hades.”
“Dont know what creed aventus smells like, but this cologne is the strongest ive run across. Yes I over sprayed myself a week ago lol and the shirt sat in the laundry for a week still smelling strong enough and after washing I could still smell it on my shirt plus it scented my other clothes. I dont mind this but others may, I used the dark blue all laundry packs when washed using extra rinse and nothings wrong with my washer. Will be getting another bottle some day for sure!”
“I got the fragrance today, my wife loves it but i can't stand this perfume. I would never be able to wear this perfume, not chance. If Creed Aventus smells like this, thats garbage for my taste.”
“Honestly I did a blind buy bc everyone in the frangance community talks about how similar smell to creed aventus. But honestly this smell like a older scent. Like this will use a person in his 50’s. Is a mature scent. If you are young stay with designer fragrances. I’m 28 years old and my gf told me straigh up I smell like his grandpa. So this mean something. It doesn’t smell bad but is not for the younger crowd. I most likely give this to my father and I’m pretty sure he will appreciated this fragrance more than me.”
