“I gave it a shot, I own a real bottle of aventus and wanted to have something that smelt like it and was super affordable. Cdnim smells very harsh, synthetic and lemony. Smells better in the air than on skin, but overall does not really smell that pleasant to my nose. I was expecting a 80 to 90% similarity as people say, but it's not even close. Mine is the cdnim EDT batch 2021 made in France. When I first sprayed it in the air and on a piece of paper it actually smelled amazing, just not really that good off my skin. It's still an OK scent, and it's super cheap.”
“Lol, Anchorman definitely had this fragrance in mind with that seen. This opens with one heck of a strong nose. You’ll get the pine-sol reference, an effect made by the cheaper binders in affordable scents. Thankful that subsides and the dry down is where it’s at. I’ve decided direct skin sprays are too strong for me, but indirect works (mist the air w/ 2 pumps and walk through). I personally prefer how this smells after 2 hours. Once it settles I get it. Before that I’m Brian Fontana. But after the dry down you’re left with a rich, if bold, fragrance. Side note: It is the longest lasting EDT I’ve come across. It lasts better than some good EDPs. At this price it’s worth the experiment. Just give it an hour before passing judgement and apply cautiously.”
“It's a really strong scent but I work in construction so it evens out with the BO. Would definitely suggest if you're a construction hand like me and work under the elements.”
