“So my dad got a bottle of Aventus last Christmas and I loved it. I took a little bottle of his for myself and used it- loved that crips scent-I did feel like it did lose its potency after a couple hours, faster than a lot of other colognes I love that are way cheaper. Well I ordered this clone-I had heard of it forever...and it was only 30 dollars so had to try it. It smells just like Aventus-lasts like 3 x longer and less than 110th the price...Get this!!”
“The smell has a Bug Repellent base smell. It's awful and it lingers on and on. (Gave 5 stars for longevity but that wasn't meant to be a compliment.) Apply outdoors on paper- not you. Best to sample before buying cause colognes are not eligible for returns.”
“If I read the 1 star reviews before purchasing I would have saved money. Appears they changed the formula awhile back. Batch number: 343036 date of bottle: 12/2021 and it smells TERRIBLE. There is no way this is the same formula that has so much hype. I've smelled fragrances many times that I don't like and wouldn't wear but their appeal is still understandable. This bottle is EXTREMELY synthetic-like some sort of forbidden chemical agent used in 19th century warfare. Other reviews have said it smells like industrial strength Lysol mixed with bug spray--that is not an exaggeration but an understatement. This was a learning lesson and I won't be purchasing fragrances from Amazon again. Plenty of other competitors with better quality control and return policies.P.S. I've used Amazon for over two decades (back when they only had books) and havent written one review before...THATS HOW BAD THIS IS!!! 1 star because the bottle is cool otherwise 0 stars for this bug spray cleaning agent bleach fragrance.”
