Came two weeks late, and came with a broken sprayer. I managed to get a few drops to rub and the scent leaves immediately.

Product looks and smells good but it almost disappear within 1 hour of soritz. Smells somewhat like creed but nothing to brag about, my wife asked me if I bought it at a Dollar Store, no pun intended : )I wanted to leave a better comment but unfortunately this one was a thumbs down.

I imagine most folks here are for one reason ... because they don't want to pay $350 for Creed's Aventus so they are looking for an alternative. Let me say right off the bat, I am an Aventus owner/wearer ... and quite frankly, I am sick of the fact that given the cologne is so expensive, it's unforgivable that Creed's batches vary so much from bottle to bottle and they have dulled down the longevity since it's creation over a decade ago. Creed Aventus, and it's smoky pineapple/citrus/apple spice scent was so unique and unlike anything else, that it soon overtook Green Irish Tweed as Creed's signature scent.Creed's Aventus, at best, lasts about 1-2 hours on someone's skin these days ... whereas it used to last two or three times as long. Oddly, it lasts much longer on clothing and often I can smell it weeks after on a dress shirt or blazer yet on the skin, it's gone in a few hours. The same seems to hold true for Club Nuit Intense these days ... at one time it was a long-lasting powerhouse scent but has since 2018 been diluted and dulled down and now lasts an hour or two, at best. It's hard to expect more from a sub $40 scent which mirrors a cologne that costs 8-0 times as much. However, most who know that it USED to be 100 times better, stronger and more similar can take issue. The scents are similar, I will admit. In the way that Cool Water and Green Irish Tweed share a lot of the same characteristics and an unfamiliar nose may not be able to tell the difference. Obviously, the Creed is always going to smell less synthetic and more balanced at the price. However, I will admit that there is a lot of similarity between the two.Club Nuit:Much more sweet smelling. Mostly apple and spice. Not a whole lot of smoke or pineapple, at all, which is what Aventus is famous for. A lot more one-dimensional whereas Aventus is more balanced. In order to smell it on body or clothing, you need to get your nose close. It does not project well and does not linger for hours. I get 40 minutes - 2 hours max. Usually more around 1 hour.Aventus:Many layers ... sweet fruit (pineapple, apple), smokiness, spice, wood. It is more balanced and the layers are what makes it so unique. While it too has a short longevity, I get 2 hours on skin and several days on clothing. Club Nuit dissipates on clothing or skin in under an hour. At it's best, Creed Aventus projects and someone standing in the same space as you can smell it. Club Nuit, you have to be right next to someone and practically have their hand or neck touching yours to smell it. Smells classy and powerful until it dissipates and makes you more of a center of attention.Maybe batch variety varies with Club Nuit, as it does with the actual Aventus. However, whatever batch I got is as weak as water ... I bought the Eau de Toilet vs. the EDP because it said EDT lasted longer. Would I buy this again, even at the low price of $35? Nope. It's just too darn week, even though it is kind of amazing that they were able to capture Creed's signature scent so well. I had hoped to have a bottle of Aventus to wear at high end functions, etc. and keep the Club Nuit to use as an everyday wearer. However, given how weak it is, it's not worth that to me.Packaging-wise, I am surprised at how well made the box is ... it even has a little 'clone' of the Creed folded paper at the top of the box. And the 3.4 oz EDT decanter, although it looks like dollar store cologne, is surprisingly heavyweight. It feels more like a paper weight than a cologne bottle ... which is actually a negative because the bulky, heavy bottle with jagged square edges is difficult to pack vs. Aventus's bottle which is more like a flask that easily stores in a dopp kit or overnight bag. You could never put this on a shelf without people thinking it was gaudy. I can't even imagine the size and weight of the 6.8 oz. EDP version! You'd almost need a separate bag just to carry that.Bottom line:I think I missed the boat on this ... it seems like the time to buy it was before 2018 when they diluted the formula and cut the time it lasts by 50-75%. This has been happening with a lot of colognes such as Abercrombie Fierce, Sean John Unforgivable (once a clone to Creed's Milsime Imperial) and others. What's there now does not smell like the 'designer imposter' stuff you'd buy at the dollar store. This smells more expensive ... for the 40 minutes before it goes away. My recommendation is not to buy this unless you are able to reapply constantly.

The bottle is nice and heavy. I don't like the fact that you can't see inside the bottle

Bought this cologne after seeing everyone compare it to Aventus. This cologne is a complete JOKE. It's so weak that it is functionally useless.I'm traditionally a light sprayer, 2-3 sprays. I don't need everyone around me to get my scent, just those in very close proximity. With this CDNIM I doused myself in it, I'm talking 10+ sprays, and still nothing. The smell is completely gone within 20-30 minutes. It's a functionally useless cologne because no one can reapply every 30 minutes. I would NOT RECCOMEND this cologne to anyone. Its not even worth the $30.Scent itself is okay, bad synthetic opening, decent smell for the last 10 minutes and then poof it's gone.

Just received my bottle of club de nuit intense men. I purchased the 200ML bottle. It’s a huge bottle, bigger than I expected!First impressions: smells pretty good! Has a “chemical” smell at first, but once dry it has a lemony scent to it.Now, I’ve been wearing Aventus Creed for a few years. So when I saw the reviews on this cologne smelling just like creed for a fraction of the price - I became curious enough to make the purchase.I sprayed creed on my left wrist and this cologne on the right wrist.I personally think they are a bit different. I could see why people say it’s a “clone” of creed. But creed has a much “cleaner” smell to it. Club de nuit, while good smelling cologne- it still has a bit of that “chemical” smell found in cheap cologne.Overall:It’s definitely worth the buy at $50 for 200ml of cologne! I completely agree with the argument of why would we spend $400 on a bottle of creed when we can buy this for a fraction of the price and have similar results!
