“A lot of people say this smells like Aventus used to 5-6 years ago. I am not sure if that's the case but I bought samples of Aventus now and I do see a strong resemblance to Club de Nuit. Now of course isn't that sophisticated as Aventus. Initially it is quite strong and harsh while the Aventus is angelic from the begining. Now, things get interesting after about 25 minutes. Club de Nuit transforms very nicely and loses that initial harsh note. Longevity is great...7-8 hrs I would say. And the price? Insane.”
