I've never smelled aventus but I have smelled "Tom Ford oud wood" and it's crazy because I havent seen anyone compare CDNIM to Tom Ford oud wood but that's what I'm getting as it drys down along with some sweetness. Fresh manly scent definitely! My batch is from 4/22 so pretty new. Long story short, I'm lovin it. Haven't sprayed it on my clothes yet just a piece of cardboard.
