“The cologne has a warm masculine scent with whiskey, iris and woody notes. Fragrance description from Givenchy indicates is it crafted using barley from a Scottish distillery - these notes definitely shine thru, but are tempered by floral, chestnut, earthy, vanilla, and woody notes. It is smooth, easy to wear, and not overpowering. The iris and violet floral aspects compliment the whisky scent and don't soften it. It maintains a 100% masculine fragrance. This cologne is long lasting. At the four hour mark, I could still detect the background whiskey / woody scents. The bottle is also inspired by whiskey and reminded me of a flask. It is a dark amber color with a black cap, top and gradient...”
“This cologne is vey long lasting with a combination of woodsy/spicy scent with a sweet touch of vanilla. The scent is a somewhat strong but when it is lightly applied it has a nice, savory sweet scent which smells great on my husband. “The first spray and I felt it was too strong . The fragrance was spicy with a few notes of bergamot. But after 10 mins or so it was fabulous. Reminded me of the macho men who know what they want and know what they are doing . Give it a couple of days ( after a few showers) the fragrance lingers on .
