“Great formal or event scent, whiskey notes are always phenomenal to have in a cologne. I would definitely suggest this as a work scent but I feel like it's lacking as a fun date night scent. The scent was not as fun as some other scents I own but a great scent nonetheless”
“I adore spicy scents. On me this is a fun layering scent (I like to layer with Haus of Gloi's Cozy Sweater, or with a Nag Champa oil by Sun's Eye.), though I don't mind it on my own. The whiskey note isn't super apparent on me - there's a smokiness to it that's reminiscent of Maison Margiela's 'By the Fireplace' and the Viktor + Rolf 'Spicebomb' scent, two others which I really like. I find that it lasts a decent amount of time - but I don't use a lot, I just spray once and then mash my wrists together, press into my neck and drag up my arms. I do use aquaphor under scent, as well. I don't get a huge variety from this - it stays pretty close to the same scent from spray to drydown to weari...”
“Givenchy Gentleman eau Prive is a soft scent, almost feminine. It has good staying power, but was too powdery for my husband. The bottle was a beautiful warm amber color that would look so nice on a dresser. I was given the chance to sample it through influenster.”
