“This is one of my favourite perfumes. It lasts for ages and it is such a lovely aroma. I decided to buy this perfume after buying another one from Lattafa which has very good reviews and it remains on my clothes even after washing them - which is amazing - and I am very happy with my purchase. “I asked for this as a Christmas present based on reviews I've read and watched on YouTube. It lives up to the hype. Although the name is Velvet Oud, this is really a leather fragrance and the oud is more of a supporting player. As a result, this doesn't have the monster performance of some Arabic oud fragrances. It's not animalic. And it has a little sweetness to it.All of that makes it much safer in a wider range of weather and a wider range of situations. This is an oud for people who hate oud or people who are afraid to try oud. It's really a leather scent with amber, cinnamon, incense, and some subdued oud.The performance is good. It lasts 6-8 hours for me and projects an arm's length for the first 2 hours. Sillage is good for the first 2 hours. You'll leave a trail as you walk through a room. But you shouldn't choke anyone out.It smells of quality and it's really well blended and smooth. For the price, this is a great value. Not that I care all that much but the bottle and the packaging way above average. The bottle looks very expensive and the velvet container is worth keeping.This was a blind buy for me and I give it a strong thumbs up!”
