“"Beautiful, calming fragrance. Makes you feel nice." Those were the words of my taxi driver the morning I wore 5 sprays. To me, it is a glass jar of preserved peaches in light syrup. Sweet, but not like jam or candy, more natural, mild and fresh. As it dries down, there is something fresh and green- guess that is the flowers, and finally something slightly powdery, like iris, but nothing old or stale. Always remains sweet and fresh. I found that I did not have to wait for it to macerate as is advised when you have an edp shipped, but I did get another edp (Ajwad) and that one certainly needs to sit. When it arrived from Intense Oud wrapped in their beautiful paper, I couldn't wait to tear it open and behold the gorgeous heavy bottle. I just had to test it, so I applied a blast to my arm and cautiously held it away to dry, but the juicy smell wafted to my nose right away. Friends, I cried!! I could not believe how beautiful it was. When I lifted my arm to take the scent in deeper, the spot was oily! This is a real edp at the price you pay for the travel rollerball of some eau de toilette!!! Wow Lataffa! And Wow Intense Oud for the speedy shipping. I got it one day sooner than promised! This would make a great gift. It is not sexy or provocative scent, nor is it the strongest or most outstanding, but it is very feminine and uplifting. It lasts throughout the day with little clouds around you for 5-6 hours, moderate sillage only for first 2 hours. It is private, mostly, but not a skin scent until after 6 hours which is similar to my other uplifting scent from the harmonist which cost me over 200usd. The vibe is spring day, or a summer evening when the day is long . Could even be for bedtime as it is "relaxed" but I prefer it for being out and about among people, keeping an unbothered demeanor about myself, carefree with my white jeans, smiling and embracing the other humans. I'm very grateful for the YouTube fragrance community which introduced me to Middle Eastern brands such as this and will keep coming back!”
