“L'Adventure Knight (LAK) is a great clone of Creed's Green Irish Tweed. I have had a bunch of GIT decants over the years and bought a half used bottle of GIT on ebay last year. To save some money, I have tried a few GIT clones, including Armaf's Tres Nuit and I wasn't really impressed. Tres Nuit is an ok clone, but it's just not constructed very well and it has a synthetic smell to me that I don't get from the genuine GIT. LAK takes this to another level. LAK is a good quality juice for the money. It really nails GIT down and doesn't have a synthetic smell to it like Tres Nuit. The opening is 99% GIT and it remains very close during the dry down. I do get a fruit almost Aventus like vibe once it gets down to the base notes after a few hours, which I don't get from GIT--but who can complain about get a little aventus vibe at the end of this frag's journey. In terms of performance, then genuine GIT has never been a strong performer for me. I get 2 hours of moderate to strong projection (maybe 3 feet if I am heavy on the trigger) for the first 2 hours. After that, the scent bubble shrink down and it becomes a skin sent for another 4 hours (I can get 6-8 longer if it's warm out). LAK gives me about the same level of performance. You're not going to get beastly performance from GIT, so don't expect it from a $35 GIT clone. For the money, you really can't complain. This is a great fragrance for the money and a 95% clone of the original.”
