“I had a prime delivery on this item and when I received the package, the boxing was dented. On the actual presentation itself I found powdery substance covering the box and the bottle. I contacted the seller, though it took a couple of tries I was able to get in touch and a women helped me. She was helpful and understanding. She sent another Maahir By Lattafa Perfumes and the second time it was excellent! There was packaging this time and no faults in the presentation or the product. Love the smell, falls on the sweeter side. Wouldn't say it's a must buy but definitely a good scent for a collection.”
“I bought Maahir Black Edition first and as all the reviews stated it is a challenging fragrance. I wouldn't know how to begin to describe how it smells. I love it but I know everyone won't.So I gave this original Maahir a second look as reviewers said it's much more mainstream, likeable, and versatile. They are right. Whereas Black Edition is dark, challenging, and downright funky. This original version is much less likely to be greeted by a scrunched up nose. It's brighter, not dark at all. It opens with floral notes and that sticks around into the mid then it mellows out into woods and leather in the base.Performance is solid and the smell is nice. But I think I prefer the Black Edition because it's super masculine and very unique whereas as this is more mainstream. Still, at the price, this is a bargain that is much more versatile.”

This is a sweet, smoky, oud, leather perfume that just smells rich and luxurious. If you’re a beginner to middle eastern fragrances, it may be intimidating at first, but the oud in this is calm enough that it is a good introduction to this style of perfume. If you’re already familiar with oud based fragrances then this is a safe blind buy because it’s smooth and velvety and just smells rich.”
